In this book there was an quote that August Wilson said impacted me. At first I didn't get it but after reading the book i got a better understanding what Wilson was trying to say. I noticed that what he said is really true."When the sins of our fathers visit us
We do not have to play host.
We can banish them with forgiveness
As God, in His Largeness and Laws."
- August Wilson
What Wilson is trying to say is that the sins of the past of our ancestors can be forgive and forgotten and he is comparing it to how God forgives us.
What makes you say that that is what the author meant?
